“Beat the crowds”
Ba Na Hills is always very busy and often crowded every day of the week! The crowds increase weekend and during Vietnam’s holiday periods. There can be long morning-queues at the cable car station with overcrowding on any day you visit.
Here are our tips for enjoying Ba Na Hills with us:
For a family : we make an early start to arrive at the ground level Cable car station before the long unruly queues that build-up with the arrival of the large group tours. Finish your day mid-afternoon means you miss homewards rush too. This is important advice for families traveling with elders and young children
For couples and adults groups: Generally a half-days is sufficient and arrive at the cable car station before 7:30 AM or about 2:30 PM ( the queues have subside and the afternoon weather is cooler).
Golden ‘Hand’ Bridge: the attraction everyone is talking about! But remember the bridge is not a stand-alone attraction you must purchase the complete Ba Na Hills resort ticket and take its cable car to see the bridge.
After finishing the first cable car, you will visit the golden bridge. The two giant hands are considered as god’s hand supporting Vietnamese bridge in particular. On the other side, the bridge could be like a long silk flap carefully held up through forest hills by two hands of a woman. From here, visitors can get a glimpse of Da Nang city with beautiful coastlines or simply enjoy themselves among white clouds, blue sky and green forests.
Walk down few steps to explore French wine cellar, garden flowers, Linh Ung pagoda. You will see the panorama of Da Nang city.
Back to station we take another cable car to French village where we have a buffet lunch at the restaurant and take a short rest to continue exploring the peak of Chua mountain at the height of 1487 m, the highest peak in Bana hills.
Next place is the French square, visit and play some games in fantasy park – one of the largest indoor amusement parks in Vietnam with series of interesting games: Freefall tower, 4-5 d film, skiver, the death race, dinosaur park…
